 http://api.jquery.com/category/manipulation/ Does function properly. And HTTP://DOCS.JQUERY.COM/CATEGORY:MANIPULATION for me goes to a page that just says there are 0 articles in that category.

For  http://docs.jquery.com/Category:Manipulation I get

A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software. The last attempted database query was:

(SQL query hidden)

from within function "MediaWikiBagOStuff::_doquery". MySQL returned error "1205: Lock wait timeout exceeded; try restarting transaction (localhost)".

Duplicate of #6946.

Please follow the  bug reporting guidlines and use  jsFiddle when providing test cases and demonstrations instead of pasting the code in the ticket.
