Jquery height is not working on IE9...even though it sets the value to a fixed value, but still it doesn't work

I tried using latest version of jquery <script src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-latest.js"></script> as if Aug 04, 2011.

Can you reduce this to a simpler test case? There is still a lot of code here and it's not clear what problem you're reporting.
