Description
jQuery is still growing, it would be good to make the possibility of creating your own version, as it is in the jQuery UI widgets.

At the moment, because there are several 'components' of jQuery which are interdependant/tightly coupled the idea of offering a custom build tool such as the one UI has (whilst nice to have) wouldn't be that practical. We may revisit this at some stage but for the time-being there are other areas that require more attention, such as bug fixing.
