title .html() doesnt work in ie

Description
i was trying to change the html within the pages title element however i've dicovered that it does not work in internet explorer.

There are a few different ways in which the page title can be updated. Could you provide us with a test case reproducing the error you encountered so that we can be sure to look into exactly what was going wrong with your code?.
