First of all the problem only apply if you position an element in your div or any block that you do appear with you slide it can be a child or a parent its when you do slide on it. The sort of position doesnt botter its with relative and absolute( i didnt try fixed ).

So now the effect, your element will lost the flow its will stay visible all the time and when your slide is finish it will disapear or be a the good position. But it will not animate.
