Can you provide a different test case?

It happens when an invalid attribute is set in an element. IE name in a div.

<input name="foo" />

<div name="foo"><div>

[name='foo'] will have 1 element

[name = 'foo'] will have 2 elements

Tested in IE7 and IE8 Beta 2

Never mind.

There something weird here.

If I access the document (test.html) via the webserver it goes wrong.

If I access the local document (via file://) it goes OK.

Can I/you delete the ticket???
