jQuery.noConflict()

Description

When using jQuery 1.2.2b2 in Firefox (2.0.0.11) and the noConflict method:

var $j = jQuery.noConflict();

I get the following error reported by FireBug(1.05):

$(document(.triggerHandler) is not a function in jquery-latest.js (line 2272).

I have changed this from:

$(document).triggerHandler("ready");

to:

jQuery.fn.triggerHandler("ready");

And this solves my issue, and everything appears to work correctly. However I am only using this with thickbox (http://jquery.com/demo/thickbox/) modified to use $j instead of $, as I have existing prototype code that also needs to work.
