jquery-tmpl using varables in input field "" breaks

Description
have a template with <input type="text" value="${something}"/>
And it seems to just show $ when you use it.

The jQuery team doesn't support the jQuery-tmpl plugin, I'm not sure if anyone does now. You could try asking a question on the forum or Stack Overflow.
