When nesting multiple animations (such as my tweenbox http://www.willjessup.com/sandbox/jquery/tweenbox/tweenbox.htm) you'll notice that on the first animation the screen 'flashes' , but this doesn't happen on subsequent animations.

Also in IE - the images that makeup the corners get hidden, but not sure if this is related.
