Description

on this example :

var myForm=document.forms[0];
console.log(myForm.elements.length); //works

var elms=$(myForm.elements);
console.log(elms.length);  //ie<=8 return 1 :(

my elms will contain all myform elements (input, textarea, select...) in modern browser but myForm in ie<=8

Additionally, be sure to test against the jQuery Edge version to ensure the issue still exists. To get you started, use this boilerplate: http://jsfiddle.net/FrKyN/. Open the link and click to "Fork" (in the top menu) to get started.

This sounds like a browser difference that occurs before jQuery is even called.

Because we get so many tickets, we often need to return them to the initial reporter for more information.
