Page load takes 1.5 sec for a small data--jQuery performace

Description
When I load a page with less number of control, still it takes 1.5sec to load. However it should be in millisec. because same page loads in few milli second. same is expected from jQuery, but it's not happening. Please help. how to optimize the performance.
