$.animate() cannot animate fontSize as documented

Description

In the documentation here:

http://api.jquery.com/animate/

It shows that fontSize can be animated, however, this is not possible. $.css() works as predicted, even with incremental and decremental type operators += and -=

Thanks for taking the time to contribute to the jQuery project! Please provide a reduced test case on http://jsfiddle.net that reproduces the issue experienced to help us assess your ticket.

Additionally, test against the jQuery (edge) version to ensure the issue still exists.

I've tested our fontSize animation examples out in Chrome, Chromium/Dev, Safari and Firefox 5 and they they appear to be working fine without any issues. This even works fine with + (http://jsfiddle.net/rvZsT/1/) and - (http://jsfiddle.net/rvZsT/2/).
