The keycode bug under Mozila 5

Description

[[Image([[Image()]])]]$('.infobox').keypress(function(event){

$('p').text('Character typed is ' + event.keyCode + ' corresponding char typed is' + String.fromCharCode(event.keyCode));

});

class infobox is an input text. The above code works fine under IE.

But there happens something wrong under FF(Mozila 5). The character doesn't appear as I like.

I wonder if this may have something to do with the default character encoding style of FF(Mozila 5).
