Description
A script error: length is null or not an object errror in IE 6,7,8, i tested this with latest jquery version too, it is showing the same error in IE8, i need a permanent solution to get rid of it.

Because we get so many tickets, we often need to return them to the initial reporter for more information. Additionally, test against the
jQuery (edge)version to ensure the issue still exists.
