Description

Hello –

  • sorry nowhere else to request such data.....

I am the Export Compliance Manager for Progress Software Corporation and we embed your jQuery 1.2.6 product into one of our products.

Can you kindly provide me with the export classification for this product or if not classified, can you at least tell me if these products contain encryption. If they do, can you provide me with information about the encryption, the cipher suite/algorithm and the strength of the encryption?

Also, if the encryption comes from other third party products, please provide the name of the product/s and the owner/s of the applicable third party product/s. In order to properly export our product of which your products are part of, I will need to have this information to then properly determine the classification for our product.

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Regards,

JoEllen

There is no export classification for jQuery and jQuery does not contain encryption. jQuery is an open-source project dual licensed under the MIT License and the GPL License, see below:

https://github.com/jquery/jquery/blob/master/MIT-LICENSE.txt

https://github.com/jquery/jquery/blob/master/GPL-LICENSE.txt

You're product may want to consider upgrading, as 1.2.6 is about 3 years old. The current version is 1.6.1
