Hi, this is referencing  http://forum.jquery.com/topic/possible-jquery-issue-in-ie#14737000002062482 -- I have not submitted a bug before (and the site is in a closed ASP environment) but maybe someone could look at the modified function and let me know if it makes sense, etc. Thanks!

Bug reports need simple test cases, as the red box above says. Please read the guidelines before filing a ticket. It sounds like you were in the right place with the forum, if someone has the answer they will answer you there.

Please follow the  bug reporting guidlines and use  jsFiddle when providing test cases and demonstrations instead of pasting the code in the ticket.
