Interface download being corrupted in Safari

Description
Custom-configured downloads of interface.js are corrupted when Safari is used to download it. When the file is compared to the same configuration downloaded via Firefox, you can see that the Safari version is leaving open and close parentheses out of the code, causing the "invalid assignment left-hand side" error to be thrown.
