Description

Please don't too fast in closing this ticket (http://bugs.jquery.com/ticket/8205) since the memory leak is still happening in IE8. The memory consumption grows slowly and keep growing.

Creating a ticket solely to make a case for another ticket isn't a good use of anyone's time. Please direct any comments realted to 8205 over there.

Please follow the  bug reporting guidlines and use  jsFiddle when providing test cases and demonstrations instead of pasting the code in the ticket.
