This sounds like a potential jQuery UI bug with datepicker, obviously not jQuery core. After you have followed the bug reporting guidelines and created an adequate testcase, please use that bug tracker - http://dev.jqueryui.com/ - not this one.
Please follow the bug reporting guidlines and use jsFiddle when providing test cases and demonstrations instead of pasting the code in the ticket.

This isn't a terribly helpful bug report. It isn't clear what you are talking about. Also you specified version 1.2.6 as affected, that is a very old jQuery version.
Please submit a reduced test case, which reproduces the issue you are experiencing, on http://jsfiddle.net. So that we can investigate this issue further.
Make also sure this bug really affects jQuery Core in its current version and isn't a bug in some jQuery plugin you may be using.
