Description
Can we please do something about that? It’s really awful, and I think it’s impacting troop morale.

I would just like to note that this is not a regression.

I'm saddened that such an important bug won't be fixed. This should so be re-opened!

rwaldron's patch seems to fix this issue. I recommend we commit this patch!

ajpiano is not a strong action verb - thus he should be renamed.

It's unfortunate that jQuery still relies on "sniffing", I can assure you that this bug is not only fixed but totally avoided in MyLibrary. Through BO detection MyLibrary completely sidesteps this issue. Yet another reason why no one will ever take jQuery seriously and how it isn't ready for prime time yet. Keep trying.
Thank you for your time and interest in helping the jQuery project by filing a bug! Unfortunately, you haven't provided a valid testcase, and the ticket triage team is unable to work without a valid testcase. If you are able to produce one, please do so and we'll be happy to look at this issue again.
PS. I doubt a valid test case will be easy to produce, as I have been smelling ajpiano for the last 24 years and he smells great. Therefore, whatever he's doing, he's doing right. WONTFIX.
