find("select") on version 1.4.3 really works?

Hi,
Sorry if this is a repeated known issue, unfortunately I am in the middle of a stress here at work so don't have time to look around.
The find("select") method somehow isn't work. I just tested it and on 1.4.2 it works.
Hope I just gave my 2 cents :)
Take care, and continue the great work on this great API.
