The .load method doesn't support characters like ö,ä,é etc.

I hope, that JQuery supports special characters in next versions.

Most likely the character set encoding is mismatched. This is a topic for the forum, since it isn't a jQuery bug.

Please follow the  bug reporting guidlines and use  jsFiddle when providing test cases and demonstrations instead of pasting the code in the ticket.
