bug in jquery.min.js??

In IE8 my browser shows a bug in jquery.min.js

line 116, caracter 165

Everything works fine in Firefox, Chrome, IE8 compatiblity mode, etc.

I am using 1.4.2 of jquery.min.js

This is not enough information for a bug report. Most likely your copy of jQuery is corrupted. Try one from a known-good source:

 http://code.google.com/apis/ajaxlibs/documentation/

Please follow the  bug reporting guidlines and use  jsFiddle when providing test cases and demonstrations instead of pasting the code in the ticket.
