Hi guys,
I was just browsing your documentation and got as far as the ajax pages when I came across one of your pages that crashes IE8.
Path to problem: load http://docs.jquery.com/Ajax and then click on the jQuery.ajax( options ) link ( first link on the page) to see details of that function.
And BAM down goes IE8 like a hungry ooker, every time I tried clicking it.
The good news (ish) it does not crash Firefox or Chrome or Safari(windows). However the page does load a little strangely on all these browsers. It loads pre-scrolled up so the header area is not visible.
Hope this makes sense.

Please follow the bug reporting guidlines and use jsFiddle when providing test cases and demonstrations instead of pasting the code in the ticket.
This was fixed on the new API site: http://api.jquery.com/jQuery.ajax
