Works in ie8 Broken in FF 3.5.5 Chrome 3.0 Opera 10 beta

A fix for this was landed earlier today:  http://github.com/jquery/jquery/commit/86bbf9cf87784cdd81ca79e4d809ef6f5879ef8b

Please follow the  bug reporting guidlines and use  jsFiddle when providing test cases and demonstrations instead of pasting the code in the ticket.
