$.browser.version is 6.0 when run in IE8

just these days, I don't know what's new happened with IE8

$.browser.version get a string '6.0' in IE8.

I believe this was fixed in 1.4; reopen with some more information if you still see it.

Please follow the  bug reporting guidlines and use  jsFiddle when providing test cases and demonstrations instead of pasting the code in the ticket.
