ajax() with method "PUT" - missing payload

Description
All ajax() calls with method "PUT" don't deliver payload.
Problem - ajax.js line 454:
| xhr.send( type === "POST" ? s.data : null ); |
Patch:
| xhr.send( (type === "POST" | type === "PUT") ? s.data : null ); |
Testcase can be delivere if needed.
