On this tutorial page:

 http://docs.jquery.com/Tutorials:How_jQuery_Works#Launching_Code_on_Document_Ready

the sample HTML has a 'nowiki' tag in it; changes are this is unintentional and should be removed.

Looks like it's gone.

Please follow the  bug reporting guidlines and use  jsFiddle when providing test cases and demonstrations instead of pasting the code in the ticket.
