In IE8, When select index change throw error: Webpage error details

Please try with jQuery 1.4.2 and reopen with a complete test case if the problem is still there.

Please follow the  bug reporting guidlines and use  jsFiddle when providing test cases and demonstrations instead of pasting the code in the ticket.
