[validator] Breaks when using jQuery 1.3.1

Description

If you are using jQuery 1.3.1, the Validator plugin will only validate the first focused field, but breaks after the first error message.

The message will not disappear, neither will any other field validate.

This is not a jQuery core bug. Please report plugin bugs to the plugin's author, or ask on the jQuery forums. jQuery UI bugs should be reported on the UI bug tracker,  http://dev.jqueryui.com .

Please follow the  bug reporting guidlines and use  jsFiddle when providing test cases and demonstrations instead of pasting the code in the ticket.
