Description

I have a project in progress currently uses a non-jQuery based datepicker. Because I already use jQuery I want to switch to UI datepicker, but there is one thing I miss: I can't select a month only! Why would this be great? Let's say you have a event calendar with the events already shown on the big calendar below the selector. When you select a month from the datepicker-month-selector, ajax loads the event calendar for that selected month. Wouldn't that be cool?

DatePicker belong to jQuery UI. Please repost this to the  UI Bug Tracker. Thanks.

Please follow the  bug reporting guidlines and use  jsFiddle when providing test cases and demonstrations instead of pasting the code in the ticket.
