Description

Be able to specify the formatting (i.e. mm/dd/yy, or dd/mm/yyyy, or both, etc.)

Providing a "complete" date method isn't feasible, therefore you have to write your own custom method for specific date formats.

Please follow the  bug reporting guidlines and use  jsFiddle when providing test cases and demonstrations instead of pasting the code in the ticket.
