ajax ui.tabs and rotation causes error

Description
Using the latest ui.tabs with remote tabs (ajax tabs) and rotate causes an error:
$span.data('label.tabs', $span.html()) has no properties
Commenting out the if (o.spinner) {...} blocks between lines 485 and 499 will allow it to run without the error.
