Description
The Protocols and Formats Working Group has been updating public working drafts of the Accessible Rich Internet Applications (WAI-ARIA) suite. These specifications and best practice documents describe a working solution for the accessibility of interactive web content using rich technologies such as AJAX and DHTML.
These are introduced in the WAI-ARIA Suite Overview:

ARIA is supported by other JS toolkits, as well as browsers: FF, Opera, IE8, and hopefully soon, WebKit.
