Ajax POST does not work

Description

I am passing a parameter to the server using ajax, and the type: GET works, but the type: POST does not work.

Duplicate of #2175

Please follow the  bug reporting guidlines and use  jsFiddle when providing test cases and demonstrations instead of pasting the code in the ticket.
