Rating plugin does not work with 1.2

yesterday i checked out the svn dev version with all the plugins. I tried the rating plugin which did not work with the 1.2 version of jQuery. (slice problem)

I made all the changes and got it working (was another slight issue with the averageIndex).

This is not a jQuery core bug. Please report plugin bugs to the plugin's author, or ask on the jQuery forums. jQuery UI bugs should be reported on the UI bug tracker,  http://dev.jqueryui.com .

Please follow the  bug reporting guidlines and use  jsFiddle when providing test cases and demonstrations instead of pasting the code in the ticket.
