Unable to get property 'nodeName' of undefined or null reference

Description

I am using jQuery UI 1.8.7 and implementing date picker, getting an exception when I navigate the arrow buttons of date picker, this behaviour is only on IE browser, it works well on other browsers.

"Unable to get property 'nodeName' of undefined or null reference"

The above error is on line# 7609 in the catch block.
