opera prefixes mess

Description
opera 12 removing some prefixes (transform, transition...) combined with jquery 1.8 adding prefixes has created the perfect s*/t storm...doesn't jquery not add prefixes in opera 12?

jQuery adds prefixes if it can. If the browser no longer adds prefixes for certain properties, jQuery won't either. Give us a specific case if you have evidence suggesting otherwise.
