Prepend Is Not A Word

The api shouldn't be prepend:  http://api.jquery.com/prepend/

It should be prefix as prepend is not a word.  http://encyclopedia2.thefreedictionary.com/prepend

Duplicate of #7446.
We generally don't find grammar sufficient cause to threaten backwards compatibility. Assuaging your conscience with a plugin, however, would be trivial.

Please follow the  bug reporting guidlines and use  jsFiddle when providing test cases and demonstrations instead of pasting the code in the ticket.
