Filter works ok in 1.7.1 but not in 1.8b2

This filter works ok in 1.7.1:

filter('[dim^{=re_I][dim*=se_7]:not([dim*=sec_1]),[dim}=re_G][dim*=se_7]:not([dim*=sec_1])')

Unfortunately, it doesn't work in 1.8b2:

It fails too in 1.8 rc1.

I don't know if I'm going to be able to extract a piece of code to jsFiddle. Will try it if I can.

Couldn't provide a test case, but the problems seems to be fixed in 1.8.0 final.
