Toggle and show not working

Description
Loaded a page using jQuery.post() with textarea set to display: none; Then wrote a script that if "yes" radio button would be selected then that textarea would appear. If "no" then it would hide the textarea. Toglle and show didint worked.
If that text area is loded with display: block; then everything works.

If you require assistance with your code, please make a post in either the official jQuery Forums or on our #jquery channel on freenode. Should you be able to establish that the issue you are seeing is in fact related to core and can be reduced, we will me more than happy to investigate further at that point.
