Description
hi!
i've seen the new feature added to animation - the queue by string and i have immediately tried to use it as i needed it badly.
at first my code was this:
target.animate( { scrollTop:50 } , { duration:scrollAnimationSpeed , easing:"easeOutQuad" } );
this works great.
then i added the queue parameter (a string):
target.animate( { scrollTop:event.pageY } , { duration:scrollAnimationSpeed , easing:"easeOutQuad" , queue:"scrollQueue" } );
after doing that, simply eliminated the easing... no easing at all!
further more - when using a stop function it got worse.
this code:
$(this).bind("mousedown.myScroll", function(evnt) {
$(this).stop("scrollQueue");
});
made the animation go wild...
nothing stopped at all. it kept jumping from top to bottom as i click the object.
i tried a few variations of this code. i wrote inside and outside of functions and handlers, but it kept on ruining the Animation function.
i'll be extremely thankful if u'll fix it by the next update.
one of jQuery's best features is the animation and the queue makes it even better.
thank you and have a good day!
Noam.
