Description
When you forward the click-Event on a checkbox, like:
$(".check_next").click(function() { $(this).next().click(); });
then it works quite nice.
But if you need to check the state of the checkbox (checked or not), its buggy!
If the checkbox is unchecked an you forward the click-Event, the result of this:
$('#id').click(function() { if ($(this).attr("checked")) { }
will be false!
If you click directly on the Element it will be true.
A Workaround is, to do something like this:
$(".check_next").click(function() { $(this).next().attr('checked', !$(this).next().attr('checked')); $(this).next().click(); $(this).next().attr('checked', !$(this).next().attr('checked')); });
but I think thats a little bit ugly an not very comfortable
