about the load of ajax

Reported by: anonymous Owned by: anonymous

Description

There are two questions about .load.

1. .load could not work as expected when loading a text file into tag <pre></pre> for IE.

2. .load with a callback. Twice loading are executed when $(this).html(data) is used in the callback. It seems that the contents first are loaded into the element when ajax succeeded and then callback is carried out. This will increase memory and cpu usages. Are there any clever method?

Thanks for taking the time to contribute to the jQuery project! Please provide a complete reduced test case on jsFiddle to help us assess your ticket.

Additionally, be sure to test against the jQuery Edge version to ensure the issue still exists. To get you started, use this boilerplate: http://jsfiddle.net/FrKyN/ Open the link and click to "Fork" (in the top menu) to get started.

I don't understand the problem.
