Why does the approval of Meetups membership take so much time? Is this a bug!

This is not a bug. Meetup approval and membership is based on application approval depending on the person managing the group or meetup you're trying to become a member of. If the group is inactive or the main organizer is no longer responsive, it may be an indication that they are no longer involved. Try getting in touch with other members of the group to find out more.

Please follow the  bug reporting guidlines and use  jsFiddle when providing test cases and demonstrations instead of pasting the code in the ticket.
