Problem with fadeIn and fadeOut on an iPod

Description

I've written a slide show using jQuery that runs fine on PC, Firefox and IE, Mac, Safari and Firefox. But the fade in and fade out don't work on an iPod. The old image drops instantaneously to partial opacity, then the new image appears instantaneously. No fade out. No fade in.

I'm using  http://code.jquery.com/jquery-latest.min.js as my source for jQuery.

Slide show is at www.kayanphoto.com/newsite

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Martin Coles

Thanks for submitting a ticket to the jQuery bug tracker. In order for us to assist further, please provide us with a reduced test case outside of your slideshow component (on jsFiddle.net) which demonstrates the behaviour described breaking. If a member of the team is then able to debug/confirm the issue on the iPod, we will do our best to assist further if possible.

Because we get so many tickets, we often need to return them to the initial reporter for more information. If that person does not reply within 14 days, the ticket will automatically be closed, and that has happened in this case. If you still are interested in pursuing this issue, feel free to add a comment with the requested information and we will be happy to reopen the ticket if it is still valid. Thanks!

Please follow the  bug reporting guidlines and use  jsFiddle when providing test cases and demonstrations instead of pasting the code in the ticket.
