Quentin Hawk's new neighbor, Bobi Rose, was a Los Angeles interior designer. The attractive Miss Rose considered herself a 'connoisseur of hipness.' She promptly compiled a list of what she termed important accomplissenent de soi (areas of self fulfillment), and recommended that Quent use it on the "all important road to becoming au courant." Quent didn't give a hang about au courant, but he duct-taped Bobi's suggestions to the door of his refrigerator anyway because it seemed like the polite thing to do. Every so often she would add something else to the list and urge him to "check it out!" Grudgingly, Quent had to finally admit, that "...a lot of the stuff turned out to be pretty cool." One of Quent's brothers is a T-shirt artist. Quent suggested that he name his website -- 'shirthawk.com.' Bobi said the name looked too much like 'shit hawk.' Until she could think of a better name, she suggested he stay with the excellent silk screen company he was presently working for.
